James Beard Foundation’s cross-country tour to stop in Portland
Mark your calendar: you’re invited to dinner this October 21! With a focus on local flavor from coast to coast, the New York-based James Beard Foundation is heading out on a 10-city food tour, Taste America! And what food tour would be complete without a stop in Portland?
Our very own board trustee, Greg Higgins of Higgins Restaurant (above right) joins the award-winning lineup, in addition to Taste America All-Star, Stephanie Izard of Girl & Goat in Chicago (above left). In addition to dinner with ten of Portland’s most celebrated chefs, the tour features a public cooking demonstration on October 22. Learn more about the events here
